Unfortunately, none of the seven movies that preceded the tv series are available on Netflix or Amazon Prime – yet. There have been plenty of rumours about when the final seasons of Good Witch will actually be aired in the UK but as of today, nothing has been confirmed by Netflix. However, in the UK there are still only five seasons available to stream on the platform. Netflix also has distribution rights and added season six and season seven in September 2021. In the United States, all seven seasons have been aired on the Hallmark Channel. The stories flow and the lives of the Middleton residents and their Grey House B&B guests are all quite lovely.įull of wholesome messages and good enough to capture the entire family's attention, it's either your cup of tea or it's not but if it's the kind of thing you generally like then you'll love it! How Many Seasons Of Good Witch Are On Netflix? It takes you on a magical journey and provides escapism in abundance and all of the characters are incredibly likeable. It is Hallmark all wrapped up in a beautifully hand crafted bow!Īnd genuinely that's what's charming about it.
Everyone is beautiful and the town is perfect. It is a wholesome drama where everything is ideal, nobody ever has a hair out of place, makeup and clothing are immaculate. Throw in a few recurring characters from the town including Mayor Martha Tinsdale (Catherine Disher) and cafe owner Stephanie (Kylee Evans) and what viewers get is the very easy to watch Good Witch. Over seven seasons their relationship blossoms with some ups and downs along the way.
Because this is when Dr Sam Radford (James Denton) and his son Nick (Rhys Matthew Bond) come into her life. So when we meet her in the tv series she is the newly widowed Cassie Nightingale and lives in her B&B with family members Grace and George, her father in law.īut it's when she gets new next door neighbours that things really heat up. It is these talents that Cassie uses to help the townsfolk of Middleton and along with her gift shop called Bell, Book & Candle – she also has the perfect solution for whatever ails them.įrom the beginning of the original movie, Cassie Nightingale's life changes considerably. Her daughter Grace (Bailee Madison) shares her gifts, as does her cousin Abigail (Sarah Power) and that's because they are descendants from the Merriwicks, who we have to assume were also very gifted. There are no wands or potions or spells, it's more about intuition and the more subtle ability to know exactly what people need to solve their problems. It is an idyllic, if somewhat wholly unrealistic view of life but it is sweet and positive and really great to watch with kids.Įssentially Cassie Nightingale is a witch of sorts. Good Witch is definitely not for everyone.
